Schenectady Gastroenterology Associates was founded by Dr. Joseph Cavallaro in 1971. The practice expanded into Saratoga, with the addition of Dr. Arthur Ostrov, in 1981 and changed names to Saratoga Schenectady Gastroenterology Associates. Over the years, the group has expanded to include eleven gastroenterologists, one colorectal surgeon and five midlevel practitioners. We have three convenient outpatient locations for consultations and perform procedures at Ellis and Saratoga hospitals and our state of the art outpatient endoscopy center in Burnt Hills.
